WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This retreat is open to anyone looking for answers to the question: What is a life worth living?
Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for participation.
HOW TO APPLY
To be considered, applicants must submit a complete application online.
In your application, you must address the following questions:
- Why are you interested in participating in this retreat?
- What vision of a life worth living do you think our culture advocates?
- What traditions (religious or secular), if any, have significantly shaped your vision of a life worth living?
NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
We will inform applicants of their acceptance within two weeks of receiving their completed application. Once the retreat reaches capacity, we will not accept additional participants, but will add names to a wait list.
FEES AND PAYMENTS
$1,995 includes retreat materials and 3 lunches (as well as mid-morning and mid-afternoon refreshments). Housing is not included; however, a special hotel rate at a local hotel will be provided for participants. To secure your space in the retreat, you must make a $500 deposit one week from your acceptance date. Your tuition balance must be paid by October 13, 2017.
You qualify for a 10% discount if you are a:
- Yale alum
- Government employee
- Non-profit employee
A full tuition fee refund will be issued if you withdraw from the retreat before October 19th. After that date, no refund will be issued. However, you may defer your participation until the following year (any fee increase will apply) or send a qualified substitute in your place (separate application is required).
